Da Nang – A Virtual Tour

Da Nang - A Virtual Tour

This will be a bit of a different style of post. I post quite a bit of short videos on Facebook and instagram, and the most common response I receive, is how much people enjoy seeing the streets of Vietnam. This eventually led me to thinking, and I thought to myself. “Self, we should do a tour of Da Nang”. “Self, What a great idea!”I haven’t been able to take many videos lately as I’ve begun to take up the responsibility of driving us around. So I had to request the help of my beautiful wife Diem.

With a little instruction, and a lot of desire, we set out to crisscross the city by motorbike. The fist video is very watchable, but I think you can see the improvements as I get better at editing and overlay video. Who knows this may be the beginning of a career in independent documentaries. Below I will embed a map so you can see the route we took. A little history, a little culture, a lot of road. The videos are between 10 and 15 minutes long. One, so people won’t feel overwhelmed to sit for over an hour watching me navigate Da Nang, two because YouTube gets difficult when you try to upload a video bigger than 15 minutes.

The Map

Above you will find an interactive map of our route, as well as a few important spots. Again the tour is broken up into 5 shorter videos. We wanted to give everyone that keeps up with our adventures a better idea of where we live. Below I will place a link to the five videos and a link to the article about Da Nang in case you missed it. So come along and join us as we ride through Da Nang.
